Just Giving
Making a financial donation to Ravelrig RDA is easy, you can do so by using the Just Giving website at www.justgiving.com. The benefit to this is that Just Giving will automatically reclaim the Gift Aid on behalf of Ravelrig RDA.
From the home page go to the section that says "Donate to Charity", search on Ravelrig Riding for Disabled and it will then take you to the page that will give you the option to either set up a fundraising page from Ravelrig RDA or set up a monthly direct donation.

Carol singing at the Gyle
Once again help required to shake a tin and collect money. It would be good if as many riders as possible could support this.
Friday 23rd of December 2011
Bag packing at Sainburys
To steal the strap line from a well know supermarket "every little helps". It would be much appreciated if you could give up a couple of hours to come along and help with the bag packing.
The annual running costs amount to £70,000. No charge is made to the riders and all of the helpers give their time on a voluntary basis.
Car Boot Sales
Edna Hughes continues to raise money by selling items at car boot sales. If you have any unwanted items which maybe too good for a jumble sale, please bring them along to the stables so that Edna can sell them on. The group is extremely grateful to the time and effort Edna has put into raising money by selling at car boot sales.
To get money off your household bills and help the RDA see the letter below
Dear Supporter
Want to make your household bills make a difference?
As you know it takes a lot of money each year to keep our gates open
We've joined a great new scheme which means that up to 5% of your household bills will be donated to RAVELRIG RDA. What do you have to do? Nothing!
Well - you have to make a phone call. And then - nothing!
One phone call and then we'll be raising money every time you switch on the TV, cook dinner, text a friend or check your emails. And at the same time you'll be saving money on your bills!
The scheme's run by the Utility Warehouse Discount Club, part of Telecom plus PLC, one of the UK's leading public companies. They provide over 200,000 UK homes and businesses with everyday utilities, like phone, internet, mobile phone, electricity and gas. They're reliable, great value and simple - and best of all you get the whole lot on one bill. An easy bill that makes a big difference.
Here's how it works: join the Utility Warehouse as a customer, and they give up to 5% of your bill to us, every month. That's it!
It's easy to join. Just call 0800 131 3000 and they will talk you through the process. It costs you nothing…in fact it could save you a lot! You'll need to give them our appeal number - B68363 - to make sure your donations come to us.
Please join in and make a difference! Call 0800 1313 000 today and quote our appeal number.
Thank you.
PS - the Utility Warehouse will not tie you in to a minimum term contract (except for some mobile phones)? That means that if you're not happy with their service or prices, you can leave at any time. No excuse!
